Hex Bolt
Hex Bolts or hexagon bolts are threaded fasteners that feature a hexagonal head. There are various sizes, materials, and specifications that hex bolts come in. There are stainless steel hex bolts, m16 hex bolts, zinc hex bolts, black hex bolts, brass hex bolts, and hex head screws. All of these various hex bolts however serve the same purpose of joining two or more objects together.
There are several benefits to having a hexagonal head. Hexagonal heads have more sides than square heads, therefore offering more surfaces to grip with a wrench. This makes it easier to use hex bolts in small spaces. In addition, hex bolts also allow for greater torque, or turning force. Hex bolts create greater torque because of their six-sided, hexagonal head. With greater torque, it is easier to remove or tighten hex bolts compared to other types of bolts.
